# Branding

> Change the colours, text and logos of the login screen and the application.

**Administrator Tools → Branding** changes the look & feel of Clockwork CRM.

## Login screen branding

| Section | What it sets |
|---|---|
| **Login title** | The heading in the login box. Required |
| **Button text** | The text on the sign-in button. Required |
| **Welcome message** | A line of text shown under the login title. Leave it empty to show no message |
| **Login Background Colour** | The colour behind the login box, shown when there is no background image or video |
| **Login Background Window Colour** | The background of the login box |
| **Login Text Colour** | The text on the login screen, including the login title, the welcome message and the forgotten password link |
| **Login Button Colour** | The background of the sign-in button |
| **Login Button Text Colour** | The text on the sign-in button |
| **Login Input Background Colour** | The background of the email address and password fields |
| **Login Input Text Colour** | The text typed into the email address and password fields |
| **Login Gradient Colour 1** and **Login Gradient Colour 2** | The two colours of the gradient laid over the login background |
| **Login Gradient Direction** | The angle of the gradient, from 0 to 360 degrees |
| **Login box shadow** | Whether the login box has a shadow |
| **Login logo** | The logo on the login screen. Recommended size 580px by 250px, under 400kb |
| **Login background** | The image behind the login box. Recommended size 1920px by 1280px, under 400kb |
| **Login Background Blur Intensity** | How much the background image or video is blurred, from 0 to 25px. The recommended value is 5px |
| **Video Background** | A video that plays on the left hand side of the login page, on a loop and without sound. It must be under 3MB. When a video is set it is shown instead of the background image. **Remove Video** takes it off |

Click the logo, background or video box to choose a file from the file browser (see [File Browser](https://help.clockworkcrm.com/general/file-browser)).

The preview on the right shows the login screen and updates as you change the settings. **Open Full
Screen** opens the login screen in a new tab. It shows only the changes you have saved.

- **Save** applies your changes to the login screen.
- **Reset to previous** puts back the settings you last saved.
- **Reset to system defaults** returns the login screen to the Clockwork CRM defaults, after you confirm.
  This takes effect straight away.

## Application branding

| Section | What it sets |
|---|---|
| **Primary Background** | The main brand colour, used for selected and active items such as ticked checkboxes, selected dates, badges and the outline of the field you are typing in |
| **Primary Text** | Text shown on the primary background colour |
| **Secondary Background** | A second brand colour, used alongside the primary background |
| **Secondary Text** | Text shown on the secondary background colour |
| **Primary Button Background** and **Primary Button Text** | The background and text of action buttons, which start something new, such as **Add Property** or **New Import** |
| **Success Button Background** and **Success Button Text** | The background and text of buttons that save or confirm, such as **Save** |
| **Warning Button Background** and **Warning Button Text** | The background and text of buttons that cancel, reset or delete, such as **Cancel**, **Reset to previous** and **Delete** |
| **Accent** | A highlight colour that features can use. Choose a colour that contrasts with the primary background |
| **Notification logo** | Recommended size 128px by 128px, under 200kb |
| **Coloured system logo** | A logo with a transparent background, used on white backgrounds such as PDF reports. Recommended size 256px by 256px |

The preview on the right shows example buttons and inputs in your colours, and updates as you change
them.

- **Save** applies your changes across Clockwork CRM.
