Board and list views

There are two views of your opportunities. Both show the same records, and both open an opportunity's record in a panel when you click it. See The opportunity record.

Open in Clockwork CRMEnter your Clockwork CRM address at the top of the page to open this in your Clockwork CRM.

The board

Sales → Sales & Opportunities Board shows one pipeline at a time, with a column for each of its stages.

The opportunities board: one column per stage, with cards and a total under each column

The toolbar holds:

Control What it does
Order By Sorts the cards in each column by Value, Estimated Close Date, Importance or Likelihood, or by one of the pipeline's properties. It starts on Value
Direction Ascending or Descending. It starts on Ascending
Pipeline The pipeline shown. The board remembers the last one you chose
Search for an opportunity Shows only cards whose name contains the text
Additional Filters Opens the filters panel. See Filters

Columns

Each column header shows the stage's name and the number of opportunities in it. The + in the header opens Add Opportunity with the pipeline and stage already chosen.

The foot of each column shows the total value of its opportunities:

  • Total: for Open and your own stages, counting the opportunities the filters show
  • Total to date: for Won and Lost, counting every opportunity in the stage, whatever the filters

Won and Lost cards are hidden until you turn on Show Won/Lost Opportunities in the filters. While they are hidden, those columns show a card explaining how to show them. Clicking the card opens the filters.

Cards

Each card shows:

Owner The sale owner's picture. Point at it to see their name
Date The estimated close date. Point at it to see how many days are left, or how many days ago it was due

Comments The number of comments. It pulses when there are comments you have not seen. Click it to open the record

Double-clicking a card also opens the record.

Moving cards between stages

Drag a card to another column to move the opportunity to that stage.

  • If any stage between the old column and the new one has properties, the Move Stage form opens. Fill in the required properties and select Save. Closing the form without saving puts the card back.
  • Dropping a card on Won or Lost sets the close date to today and then asks for Closing Notes. Enter any notes and select Save.

To move an opportunity to another pipeline, use Move on its record or in the list.
